What determines the number of sessions.

Consultation and test
Assessment of your skin type (phototype), hair growth and any current treatments, followed by a test on a small area. The laser settings are based on these.

Spaced sessions
Four to eight weeks between sessions, depending on the area: the laser only acts on hairs in the growth phase, which is why several passes are needed.

Maintenance
After that, one or two sessions a year are enough to maintain the result on most areas.

Before you commit.
Six to eight on average for a given area, sometimes more on the face or in the case of a hormonal imbalance. The estimate above is based on a course of six sessions, which is the most common case.
No. The laser targets the melanin in the hair: a hair without pigment does not absorb the energy. This is checked at the consultation before you commit to anything, and we tell you when it will not work.
You will need to wait. Recently exposed skin increases the risk of burns and dark marks. Allow four weeks without sun exposure or self-tanner before a session.
The sensation is similar to the snap of a warm elastic band. The built-in cooling system makes it tolerable on the vast majority of areas; the bikini area and upper lip remain the most sensitive.
Shave the area the day before or that morning — do not wax or pluck during the four weeks beforehand, as the laser needs the hair to be in its follicle. Come without cream, deodorant or make-up on the area.
They are reference prices per session. The quote you receive at the consultation takes into account the actual surface to be treated and any applicable packages; it is valid for three months.
